Review of KickstartPLR

Review of KickstartPLR – private label articles membership site.

As a Senior online marketer, trying to learn Internet business I’ve bought a lot of private label stuff over the years. Articles, ebooks, software … you name it, I have a hard drive full of it. I have learned that well written private label material can help you create meaningful content. This leaves a Senior “newbie” free to spend time learning all the intricacies of online marketing.

The one thing that characterizes most of it though is that it is badly researched and poorly-written. Let’s be honest, 90% of the thousands and thousands of PLR articles around are barely even in readable English.

The only reason I keep buying private label materials is that every once in a while you come across a supplier who understands the concept of quality. It’s rare, I admit, but they are out there if you look.

And when you do find the good stuff, the money-making potential is amazing. You can literally reap the rewards while someone else does all the work for you!
Good private label lets you do pretty much anything you like – edit it, add to it, merge different articles into a bigger report, post it on websites, blogs, emails … if you can think of a money-making use for it, the chances are you can do it. The private label license has very few restrictions.

Usually the only no-nos are to post the articles unchanged on article directories, and reselling them as private label. Other than that, the sky – and your imagination, is the limit.

Just recently I came across a new website from husband and wife team, Martin and Delia Avis. Martin has been a full time Internet marketer for years and Delia is an ex English teacher, so between them they know about research, keywords, expert writing and online marketing. A combination of talents that they have put to good use in KickstartPLR.

Martin also runs a very long-running newsletter – Kickstart Today – which has been around for over 8 years – and is known for his ethics and straight dealing.

That background made me take notice when I learned that they had recently launched a private label articles site of their own.

What I found was that they create a new pack of ten articles, on a carefully researched niche topic, every ten days. So for your subscription fee you get 30 brand new articles every month. What was important for me was that I found by getting them spread out over the month I don’t get overloaded.

This is PLR material that I want to use, not collect!

KickstartPLR also has some excellent training materials – which is being added to all the time, and a section with really useful exclusive software you can use in your online marketing. Frankly, I’d have paid the low monthly price just to use some of that software!

Having checked out the site and seen for myself the extremely high quality Martin and Delia both aim for and achieve, I have no hesitation in recommending KickstartPLR.

Which Internet Marketing Strategy to Pursue

Get rich quick schemes abound. Don’t be fooled! The best approach is all about building your business from the ground floor-up. That includes looking at your online efforts from the perspective of a brick and mortar entrepreneur.

You want to know which titles you’ll wear in the business – will you just manage everyone working for you (meaning freelancers and service providers)? Will you have a hands on approach to the graphics or content? Or will you oversee the marketing and advertising development for your products and let outsourced professionals handle all the rest?

You need a plan, and part of that plan is to evaluate each of your opportunities to see which business model would best suit your personal preferences and your financial needs. It might be info product creator, software developer, service provider, membership site coordinator – there are many options for you to consider.

Many people were taught how to build AdSense sites for awhile. No one ever told them it isn’t as big of an income as an info product site for the same amount of work generating traffic to the domains. You can’t just trust the judgment of someone else – you have to take responsibility for checking out all of your options and making the best choice for you.

You may want to look at things a bit differently. Rules are being implemented left and right – with the FTC, with article directories – even with third party affiliate marketplaces like ClickBank.

So everything you do needs to be above the board. Long gone are the days when blackhat tactics were something to envy. Now it can potentially end your business in a flash – nothing no smart entrepreneur would do to risk their livelihood.

Start with a niche that won’t get you into trouble. Yes, some of them stand to help you make a fortune, but is it something where you’ll have a lot of trouble posting content online?

Then move on to what you can learn – and from whom. Are there ample guides to teach you about this marketing strategy? Do the marketers teaching it have good reputations or will they be instructing you to “get away with” things that might jeopardize your business?

Don’t risk it! Pursue something that is ethical and that provides you with happiness in addition to the financial success you’re after. It’s not all about the money. Sometimes the joy you get out of building your business is what can sustain you through the years until you achieve the highest level of accomplishment you can imagine.

Focus for the Year Will Help Increase Your Earnings

The biggest problem I find is setting out a plan for the year and focusing on that plan.. It is easy to be swerving all over the place – from trying to learn Pay per Click to launching new Squidoo lenses to working on an info product.

It’s called information overload, and clearing out the hard drive doesn’t solve it – it only makes more room to buy other stuff you don’t need yet. There is a better way, if you’re willing to look ahead for the year and make a plan now instead of planning as you go.

Part of the problem is that you’re like a kid in a candy or toy store. You’re looking at one shiny new object in aw of it and suddenly see another new shiny object out f the corner of your eye, so you run and grab that one. The object in this case might be a new eBook, personal coaching lessons, or a strategy someone mentioned in a forum.

For this year, let’s do it better! Sit down with a calendar and map out your plan of attack month by month. You have 365 days to fill – and make sure you leave some room for time off, because everyone needs that in order to perform at his or her best.

First consider what kind of business you want to build. If it’s info product creation, then you’ll want to brainstorm a list of all tasks you have to do that are associated with that, such as: niche market research, keyword list building, outline and creation of the info product, sales copy creation and tweaking, affiliate recruitment, list building, etc.

Organize the tasks in a certain timeline – what comes first? Don’t worry about PPC ads when you haven’t even completed your eBook yet. Give each task a timeframe. How long does it take to write the eBook? Map it out on your calendar, but be flexible and don’t panic if it takes a little longer. These are just guidelines.

Then pencil in the tasks that have to be repeated over the course of the year. For example, keyword research doesn’t end in some niche markets. You may find that trends affect the way people are searching and knowing things as soon as possible helps you capitalize on the evolution within the niche.

Don’t let new guides take you away from your mission. Unsubscribe from the lists that continually do nothing but hard sell you on new strategies and pie in the sky promises and focus on those that motivate you to get things completed.

This year can be your year. It can be the year that you finally get from point A to point Z and celebrate the journey you’ve been on. Promise yourself that you won’t veer off-course until you’ve met your commitments and seen some results.
